Job Summary

UI/UX Designer B2B Product (Labs / Healthcare) - Pune Location

Role Overview

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to work on a complex B2B product used daily by diagnostic labs hospitals and enterprise customers. The role focuses on improving core operational workflows where accuracy speed and clarity matter more than visual novelty.

The designer will work closely with Product and Engineering to make complex systems easier to use especially in areas involving lists decisions exceptions and multi-step workflows.

Day-to-day work

On a regular basis you will:

Review existing product workflows and identify usability issues
Map user flows and decision points with Product Managers
Design wireframes and interaction flows for new or improved workflows
Refine layouts to improve clarity scannability and speed of use
Work with Engineering to ensure designs are feasible and correctly implemented
Iterate on designs based on feedback constraints and real usage patterns
Study and discuss other product experiences (B2B and consumer) to bring useful UX patterns into the product

Key responsibilities

UX & Interaction Design

Design end-to-end workflows covering multiple states and edge cases
Create low- and high-fidelity designs using Figma
Focus on usability consistency and cognitive load reduction
Balance flexibility with opinionated defaults in complex interfaces

Product Thinking

Understand business logic and system behavior behind the UI
Ask questions about why a flow exists not just how it looks
Help product teams make design decisions when trade-offs are required

Collaboration

Work closely with Product Managers during discovery and iteration
Partner with Engineering during implementation and review
Participate in design reviews and contribute to shared UX standards

Must-have experience

36 years of experience in UI/UX design

Experience working on complex workflow-heavy products (B2B SaaS preferred)

Strong understanding of information hierarchy usability and interaction design

Ability to explain design decisions clearly and logically

Comfort working with existing systems and improving them incrementally

Good-to-have experience

Experience designing operational tools (healthcare finance logistics enterprise software)

Familiarity with multi-role or permission-based interfaces

Habit of exploring and learning from other product interfaces

Experience improving list-based or data-heavy UIs
