Casual/Relief Support Position (Peel CPS )
Program Name - Peel CPS
Start Date: ASAP
Skills Required:
- DSW or SSW or CYS Diploma
- Current/Valid G Drivers License
- Computer Skills: Windows Word Excel Email etc.
Experience Required:
- Behaviour supports
- Medical supports
- Supported Independent Living (SIL) supports
- Community Participation Supports (CPS)
- Employment supports
- Supports to people interacting with the Criminal Justice System
- Supports to people who have a dual diagnosis
- Supports to people who dont use words to communicate
- Supports to people who experience Autism
- Supports to people who experience FASD
- Ability Required:
- Current NVCI
- Current First Aid/CPR
- Able to lift 20 lbs.
- Able to perform restraints
- Able to perform CPR
- Able to provide personal care which may include lifting bending and/or twisting
Schedule: Day time shifts i.e. 9am-3pm to cover call-ins and back-fill shifts.
Wage: The successful candidate for this position will be paid according to Schedule A of the SEIU Peel/Halton Bargaining Unit Collective Agreement: currently $22.53 per hour.
