A DAY IN THE LIFE

Enthalpy Analytical - part of the larger organization Montrose Environmental Group - iscomprisedof over 9 laboratories servicing air water and soil testing. Regulations drive the need for our serviceswithour unique capabilities allowingus to add value to clients beyond environmental compliance.

Our Denver CO Lab is currently seeking a Full-Time Laboratory Analyst to join ourWet Chemistry Departmentforion chromatography (IC) sample preparation and data review.

Schedule:Training Period MondayFriday 1st shift with target schedule to have one day weekend availability with opportunity for alternative schedule.

As key membersof the laboratory team analystsareresponsible for:

  • Preparingwater and soil samples forhexavalent chromiumanalysis via ion chromatography
  • Instrument maintenance and daily operation
  • Preparingsolutions and standards
  • Maintainingtidylaboratoryworkstations
  • Cleaning laboratory glassware
  • Maintaining organized sample preparation and analysisrecords
  • Peer-reviewing data
  • Managingsamplebacklog hold times and due dates
  • Communicatingstatus updates andpotentialconcernswith GroupLeaders
  • Assisting Group Leadersinmaintaininginventory of consumables reagents and instrument components
  • Complying withEnthalpys Quality Assurance ProgramHealth and Safety Plan and other policies
  • Otherresponsibilitiesas assigned by the Group Leaders Operations Manager Technical Director and/or Lab Director

YOUR EXPERTISE AND SKILLS

To perform this job successfully individuals must be able to perform each duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required.

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelors degree or higher in Chemistry Biology Environmental Science or equivalent preferred
  • Previouslaboratory experience preferred

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Knowledge of analytical methods analytical instrumentsGLPand lab safety
  • Ability to workbothindependently andcollaboratively
  • Strongorganizational and communication skills
  • Ion Chromatography experience
