We are seeking a Branch Manager for a permanent role based in Durban KwaZulu Natal.

Duties & Responsibilities


Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

  • At least 10 years experience in similar industry
  • Account management experience advantageous
  • Proven track record of delivering projects within defined timelines under high pressure
The successful applicant would be responsible for but not limited to:
  • Ensure the region has sufficient capacity (technical teams) to achieve its set targets and objectives
  • Confirm regional operating capacity in all departments
  • Continuously analyse operating performance and develop ways to improve efficiency
  • Ensure sure both parties (region & head office) are giving and/or receiving training and technical support
  • Ensure sure both parties (region & head office) are giving and/or receiving health & safety support
  • Ensure sure both parties (region & head office) are giving and/or receiving stock on time and within agreed timeframes
  • Keep a record of past reports and monthly performance metrics
  • Report on department status weekly Installations; Maintenance; Projects
  • Perform any other work-related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time by management.
  • Report back on progress towards targets throughout the month
  • Provide support to the regional manager across all departments and functions to enable better and improved execution in the region
  • Proactively manage changes in the regional scope ensure that any change to the scope is documented and approved
  • Identify potential crises & devise contingency plans
  • Plan and facilitate effective regional updates and meetings
  • Liaise with business partners and ensure strong relationships
KPI-
  • Reporting to be accurate timeous and detailed
  • Able to produce detailed analysis of past regional performances
  • All stock is received within agreed timeframes and no stock shortages
  • All staff & contractors have H&S audits within agreed timeframes allowed
  • All staff that require training and technical support receive it within agreed timeframes
  • Develop a set of KPIs to determine efficiency and performance
  • Maintain a report on the maximum operating capacity of each region
  • Available Technical capacity exceeds monthly target by at least 10%
