Job Summary

Position Summary

The Catastrophe Risk Analyst is responsible for assessing the risk and potential damage caused by natural and man-made disasters. Utilizing statistical models historical data and predictive analytics they help insurance companies governments and businesses understand the financial impact of catastrophic events and develop strategies to mitigate losses.

What will your job entail

Job Responsibilities:Evaluate complex datasets to identify patterns and trends associated with catastrophe and refine catastrophe models to estimate potential losses from various disaster detailed reports that communicate risk assessments to closely with underwriters and actuaries to integrate risk analysis into policy pricing and portfolio ahead of the latest developments in climate science construction technology and regulatory changes that may affect risk in the creation of risk mitigation strategies to minimize financial Implementation: Utilize advanced software and technologies to improve the accuracy of risk to the development of emergency response plans for catastrophic Experience and Education: Bachelors degree in Risk Management or Business with a minimum of 6 months of related experience. Licenses & Certifications: Certified Catastrophe Risk Analyst (CCRA) Certified Specialist in Catastrophe Risk (CSCR) or Certified Catastrophe Risk Management Professional (CCRMP) is Skills:Risk ModelingData ManagementRegulatory ComplianceStatistical Analysis Behavioral Skills:Effective Communication Interpersonal Skills Attention to Detail Decision Making Problem-Solving Continuous Learning

The target salary range for this position is $68000.00 - $85000.00 annually.

The wage range for this role considers many factors such as training transferable skills work experience licensure and certification business needs and market demands. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
