We are seeking a Quality Control Analyst to join Zions Bancorporation. The Quality Control Analyst plays a key role in ensuring operational excellence and compliance across the organization. This role performs first line of defense testing of internal operational controls. The position is responsible for reviewing completed work conducting quality control reviews investigating and reporting on processes procedures and programs and performing audits for risk controls and regulatory quality control. The role supports quality review findings through research validates standards measures performance and determines compliance with department and division guidelines. By identifying operational risks and recommending effective policies and controls. The Quality Control Analyst contributes to continuous quality improvement and the achievement of organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Test Internal Operational controls.
  • Review completed work and conduct quality control reviews for accuracy and compliance.
  • Perform audits for risk controls and regulatory quality controls to ensure compliance.
  • Research and support quality review findings exceptions and resolve issues.
  • Identify and assess operational risk and impact recommending effective policies and controls.
  • Support continuous quality improvement activities through recommendations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school degree or equivalent required; college degree highly preferred.
  • 2 years of experience with departmental/area processes procedures programs compliance or directly related experience. Combination of education and experience may meet requirements
  • Quality review/audit experience preferred.
  • Solid organizational skills and attention to detail; must be a self-starter.
  • Excellent client relations and communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and resolve competing priorities effectively.
  • Ability to articulate sensitive and challenging positions involving multiple parties.
  • Ability to influence others based on logical reasoning and fact-based analysis.
  • Adaptability to change and shifting business priorities.

Location:

This position is fully in office (5 days a week) at the Zions Technology Center - 7860 South Bingham Junction Blvd Midvale UT 84047

The Zions Technology Center is a 400000-square-foot technology campus in Midvale Utah. Located on the former Sharon Steel Mill superfund site the sustainably built campus is the companys primary technology and operations center.
