Job Summary
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Crawley. This is an exciting opportunity for an Early Years practitioner to inspire children at a critical stage supporting them as they begin their formal education and develop a love of learning.
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) creating engaging lessons that support childrens communication literacy numeracy and personal development. You will foster a nurturing structured and stimulating classroom environment where pupils feel confident safe and motivated.
Observation and assessment will be central to your role. You will track childrens progress identify next steps and provide targeted support to ensure all children reach their full potential. Differentiation and inclusion will ensure every childs needs are met.
You will work collaboratively with teaching assistants and the Early Years team to maintain consistency and high-quality provision. The school values creativity innovation and a commitment to fostering positive learning experiences for all children.
We are looking for someone who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has experience teaching in EYFS or Reception
Demonstrates strong classroom management skills
Builds positive relationships with children staff and parents
Works effectively as part of a team
