Planning and delivering engaging creative and well-structured lessons in line with the National Curriculum

Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners including SEN and EAL pupils
Using assessment effectively to monitor progress and inform planning
Maintaining high expectations for behaviour effort and achievement
Supporting pupils academic social and emotional development
Working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and SEN staff
Contributing to pupil progress meetings and planning interventions where needed
Communicating effectively with parents and carers
Participating in staff meetings training and whole-school initiatives
Upholding safeguarding child protection and wellbeing policies at all times
The Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for a Primary Teacher who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has experience teaching in KS1 or KS2 (ECTs welcome)
Demonstrates strong classroom management skills
Is committed to inclusive education and high-quality teaching
Can adapt teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners
Is reflective organised and proactive
Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively
Has a positive professional and enthusiastic approach
Teachers with experience supporting pupils with SEN EAL or additional needs will be particularly well suited to this role though this is not essential.
