The Opportunity
This high-spec secondary school in Bristol is looking for a temporary Caretaker to provide maternity cover for the remainder of the academic year. The school offers a modern working environment with access to professional tools and a supportive management structure. You will be a visible presence on site supporting the smooth running of the school through a mix of scheduled maintenance and reactive repairs.
Role Details
Access Control: Managing the safe movement of vehicles and pedestrians on site during peak arrival and dismissal times.
Repair Regime: Executing a planned programme of minor repairs and refurbishment work to classrooms and communal corridors.
Waste Management: Ensuring all waste receptacles are emptied daily and that recycling protocols are strictly followed by the site team.
Technical Support: Assisting the premises manager with technical plant room checks and boiler operations.
