Position Overview

This is a field-based sales role suited for an outgoing proactive and relationship-oriented salesperson who enjoys being on the road meeting customers and developing business in a competitive market. The Sales Representative will be responsible for growing existing accounts and identifying new opportunities across the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a territory sales plan to grow revenue in Alberta

  • Participation in team related sales events across Western Canada.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting referrals and market outreach.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers in automotive retail wholesale and distribution.

  • Conduct on-site customer visits deliver product presentations and recommend solutions based on needs.

  • Support account development by ensuring a high level of service and follow-through.

  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to coordinate promotions pricing and customer support.

  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

  • Provide regular reporting on pipeline customer activity market conditions and competitor insights.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in sales or business development (automotive/distribution experience is an asset).

  • Experience in Agriculture Commercial OTR or Industrial wheels is an asset.

  • Strong customer-facing skills: comfortable speaking with people building trust and influencing decisions.

  • Self-motivated and organized with the ability to manage a large territory independently.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

  • Interest in the automotive industry and willingness to learn product lines quickly.

  • Willingness to travel extensively within Alberta.

  • CRM proficiency and disciplined sales reporting are considered valuable assets.
