We are looking for a proactive and organised HR Administrator to join us on an initial circa 18month fixedterm contract to support maternity cover. Reporting to the HR Manager and based in our Grimsby office you will be part of a friendly multifunctioning busy HR team.
You will play an important role in ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new colleagues maintaining accurate HR records and providing daytoday administrative support. This role would suit someone with some existing HR experience or a strong administrator with a particular strength in building relationships and working proactively.
This position can be offered on a fulltime or parttime basis. For parttime arrangements we are ideally seeking someone who can work each day Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide highquality administrative support across the HR function
- Manage onboarding processes including issuing offer paperwork and completing background checks
- Maintain accurate and uptodate employee records in the HR System
- Support the coordination and delivery of the firms induction programme
- Assist with HR reporting meetings and wider HR initiatives as required
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in an administrative or customerfacing role
- The ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks at pace
- Excellent communication and relationshipbuilding skills
- Highly organised with a proactive approach to work
- Confident IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
