Introduction:

Join our Houston team as a Control Systems Engineer and put your stamp on cuttingâedge automation projects from day one. Youll partner with Project Managers to shape migration roadmaps program plans and costâsmart implementations; collaborate with Business Development to craft proposals that win; and be the technical heartbeat of deliveryplanning scheduling coordinating and mentoring earlyâcareer engineers as you guide work from requirements through testing and commissioning. Youll engage directly with clients to solve complex challenges champion proven engineering processes and design tools to elevate performance and leverage technologies like Aveva Historian.

Responsibilities:

In this dynamic role youll be at the forefront of shaping cuttingâedge automation solutionspartnering with Project Managers to craft strategic migration roadmaps build program plans and develop costâeffective implementation approaches all while teaming with Business Development Managers to deliver compelling proposals that win work. As the Lead Engineer youll guide the technical heartbeat of each project: planning scheduling and coordinating complex engineering efforts while mentoring earlyâcareer engineers as they grow. Youll collaborate directly with clients navigating and resolving technical challenges with confidence and clarity. Every day youll champion EN Automations proven engineering processes innovative design tools and best practices to elevate project performance. Youll also drive clarity and alignment by developing and documenting system requirements test strategies and commissioning plansensuring every control system design and implementation step is seamlessly executed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of automation and controls
  • Knowledge of Aveva Historian

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Requires exceptional verbal and written communication skills and regular interaction with assigned project clients and partners (both internal and external to the company)
  • Knowledge of multiple industry leading vendor platforms architectures and data communications for PLC SCADA and DCS systems such as but not limited to Rockwell Automation Siemens Inductive Automation Aveva/Wonderware Emerson and ABB.
  • Good understanding of system data collection database management and data analytics that support clients business decisions
