The Systems Design and Development Engineer 6 serves as a senior technical architect and DevOps modernization leader responsible for guiding enterprise cloud transformation initiatives across complex application portfolios.

This role operates at the portfolio and platform architecture level partnering directly with client leadership engineering teams and program stakeholders to design and implement modern cloud-native DevOps-enabled architectures that accelerate application modernization and migration.

The engineer will assess existing environments develop modernization roadmaps and lead the implementation of standardized multi-cloud architectures CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation frameworks.

This position combines strategic architecture leadership with hands-on technical execution ensuring that modernization initiatives deliver measurable improvements in security scalability reliability and delivery velocity.

The engagement will begin at approximately 90 hours per month with the potential to expand into a full-time role as Task Release Notices (TRNs) and program funding are approved.
