The Business Performance & Metrics Strategist serves as the centralized owner of the Truist Care Centers executive business performance narrative. This role is responsible for translating enterprise and operational performance data into clear compelling insights for Executive leadership including weekly monthly and quarterly updates to C-suite executives and as needed the Board of Directors. The strategist establishes and maintains a single source of truth for performance metrics and Executive-level dashboards ensuring consistency accuracy and strategic alignment across all outbound communications. Through strong executive storytelling advanced analytics and modern reporting tools this role enables data-driven decision-making and drives transparency accountability and performance excellence across the Care Center.

This position is office-centric 5 days a week in one of our Truist hubs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed both major and minor which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Independently lead Enterprise Tech business operations projects or business analytics use case execution including collaboration with stakeholders to define requirements as well as delivery of finished project to meet agreed success criteria.
2. Mentor technical practitioners supporting ET performance reporting and business analytics efforts. Guide the team on the methods and tools to support business reporting in accordance with Truist data management standards.
3. Maintain division performance measure business definitions and calculation logic.
4. Execute performance management status routines including collecting monthly performance results and action plans.
5. Prepare materials for reporting of performance results and related action plans through processes defined for the business unit.
6. Identify and implement Continuous Improvements to create efficiencies in the running of the organization (including creation and maintenance of polices standard operating procedures and/or job aids and process automation).
7. Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners.


QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree and/or equivalent experience and related training
2. Experience with Program Management or Project Management (very large initiatives with multiple Project Managers)
3. Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing business operations within a technology organization.
4. Extensive experience managing multiple highly complex simultaneous projects involving cross-functional project teams within budgetary and schedule constraints.
5. Exceptional financial acumen with experience managing budgets and financial tracking.
Proficiency in data analysis reporting and executive-level presentations that can be tailored to meet a broad range of audience and levels.
6. Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to align operational efforts with broader business objectives.
7. Extensive understanding of Project Management principles agile methods and techniques.
8. Requires advanced technical and business knowledge in policy development.
9. Outstanding analytical skills with attention to detail. Outstanding documentation organization time management and problem-solving skills.
10. Ability to build consensus with technology and business teams in order to work through others in achieving desired results and objectives.
11. Knowledge of the appropriate application of data and analytics capabilities such as visualization and data science tools.
12. Flexibility in response to change.
13. A detailed understanding of business. Retail background a plus. Extensive diplomacy and conflict resolution skills.
14. Sound team building and interpersonal skills required to effectively manage a multi-faceted project throughout the deliverable process
15. Exceptional problem-solving skills: able to anticipate technical and project barriers and adjust approach based on research and experience. General knowledge of several major and related systems and how they are integrated

Executive storytelling: Previous experience crafting C-suite and Board-ready performance narratives.
Dashboard mastery: Advanced expertise in designing executive-level KPI dashboards and visual insights.
PowerPoint & Excel expert: Ability to create Executive level presentations models and automated reports.
AI & GenAI fluent: Leverages AI to accelerate insights and reporting.
Single source of truth: Previous experience with establishing governance to formulate a consistent aligned narrative with the appropriate control points.
Narrative control point: Ensures consistent aligned outbound messaging.
Strategic mindset: Connects metrics to enterprise priorities and outcomes.
Executive presence: Communicates with confidence and discretion.
