This person provides administrativesales and operational support for Brokerage (Raymond James Financial Services) within the Wealth personwillalso provide administrative support for the Trust and Investment Officersin the Trust division of the Wealth Management Services Department.
Qualifications: This personshouldhave a minimum of anassociatedegree plusthreeyears of related work experienceor the with a bank wealth management group trust company lawfirmor brokerage firm is or the ability to learn a basic understanding of legal trust documents; stocks bonds and mutual funds; tax concepts; interpreting financial statements andassistingwith client oral and writtencommunicationsskills and attention to detail arerequired. Mustbe ableto make decisions independently while balancing multiple priorities and meeting Series 7 & Series 66 securitieslicensesarepreferred but notrequired.
Principal Responsibilities:
Settle all Retail Investment Program transactionsin accordance withRaymond James Financial Services First Bank & Trust andFinancial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA)policies and security purchases and salesmaintaina daily transaction log of tradesand review all transactions for all cash receipts and disbursements wire transfersand deposits and resolve account applications.
Maintain all client and branch office files asrequiredtocomply withRaymond James Financial Services First Bank & TrustandFINRApolicies and procedures.
Contact and resolve issues with clients and Raymond James Financial Servicesregardingadministrative matters and and edit correspondence to clients and companies as needed.
Assist the Financial Advisor with the implementation of the Retail Investment Departmentmarketingplan through the active management of a customer information file and sales proposals andinvestment managementpresentations for Raymond James Financial Services usingRaymond Jamessoftware programs database informationand graphics appointments with stock quotesand accountinformationtoinquiringcustomers.
Support Wealth officers by preparing correspondence to clients attorneysaccountantsand beneficiaries communicatingrespectiveactivity in their account by the department in its legal needed with financial/wealth planning preparation and analysis completion and entry of client discovery documentation inappropriate planningsystems.
Prepare for client progress notes and action items from allpreviousmeetings withclient. Ensure all outstanding action items have been completedincludingupdates to the clients assets and cash flows. Consult with subject matter experts to ensure meeting specific documents are current.
Reconcile monthly broker/dealer fee expenseand commission quarterly call reports. Track account reviews account acceptanceand closings for audit a complete and current file of account applications forms prospectuses and sales literature.
Provide administrativeassistancein the performance of WMS as a trust beneficiary for irrevocable funeral trusts including thetimelycompletion and submission of benefit claim forms contact with insurance companies and funeral service providers coordination of payments and resolving problem claims.
Assistin preparationofInitial 60-day reviews and Annual Administrative and Investment reviews for various Trust & Investment to read basic trust documents.
Actin accordance withFBT policies and procedures asset forth inthe employee handbook.
Adhere to compliance procedures andparticipatein required compliance training.
