ABOUT THE ROLE

Ngala is a well know Western Australian charity that supports children and families. We are entering into an exciting period of growth and transformation and we are seeking a Chief Clinical Services Officer to help shape the future of clinical services. These include

  • Preventative and early intervention services
  • Mental health programs
  • Residential parting services and
  • Statewide community supports

The Chief Clinical Services Officer (CCSO) is a key member of the Ngala Executive Team reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer. This role provides the unique opportunity to influence service innovation uplift clinical governance and drive improved outcomes for families at scale. Our recent focus has been on strengthening modernising care pathways digital capability and high impact clinical model initiatives to be championed and expanded by the CVSO.

DUTIES

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide strategic leadership for all clinical and early intervention services across Ngala. Drive the business planning and ongoing development of the Clinical Services portfolio in line with Ngalas Strategic Plan.
  • Provide operational leadership enabling efficient and effective service delivery including operational practices to ensure financial clinical and operational outcomes are met.
  • Build strong partnership with government peak bodies tertiary organisations health networks and community organizations
  • Drive evidence-based decision-making and use of data to improve client outcomes and analyse performance data and implement strategies for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with the National Safety and /quality Health Service Standards child safe standards and other relevant frameworks

ABOUT YOU

As the successful candidate you will have:

  1. Extensive leadership experiences in major health care community health or hospital systems.
  2. Tertiary qualifications in Clinical Service and / or Business Management.
  3. Health Practitioner Registration with a professional body (eg AHPRA or equivalent).
  4. Deep understanding of family services mental health child development or early intervention models.
  5. A commitment to culturally safe inclusive and equitable service delivery including child safe principles.
  6. An understanding of delivering culturally safe service including ATSI and Multicultural.
  7. Strong governance capability operational insight and a passion for clinical excellence.
  8. Values that align with Ngala focus on Human Connection Integrity Fairness and Creativity.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Able to work across other Ngala sites as required
  • Possession of a current National police clearance
  • Possession of a Working with Children Check
  • Possession of a current WA drivers licence
