Job Description
Dynamic financial services team part of a global group of companies seeks an Payments Operations Assistant for their banking business who has international payments / Swift experience. What you will be doing:
- Accurately and timeously process crossborder payments.
- Verify payment details and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
- Resolve paymentrelated issues and respond to daily client queries
- Reconcile and maintain client records and transaction data
- Ensure all relevant documentation is complete and correctly stored
- Prepare payment reports and summaries
- Manage client inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Support paymentrelated concerns and collaborate with the Case Management team
- Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements
- Maintain implement and enhance compliance and control processes
- Work with team members to streamline and improve operational workflows
What we are looking for:
- BCom degree or Diploma in finance business or related field
- Experience in financial services or the banking sector
- Knowledge of international and crossborder payments including basic SWIFT understanding
- Strong MS Office skills particularly Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational abilities
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced deadlinedriven environment
