Support Lead Teacher:
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to implement the daily lesson plans and activities
- Assist in creating a stimulating and developmentally appropriate learning environment
- Assist with the supervision of children during playtime meals and other activities
- Provide support in managing the classroom including helping with transitions organizing materials and maintaining a tidy and safe space
Assessment and Documentation:
- Assist in observing and documenting childrens developmental progress and behaviour
- Contribute to maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of each childs achievements and areas for improvement
Health and Safety:
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom
- Follow health and safety protocols and respond promptly to any safety concerns
Professional Development:
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in early childhood education
