Job Summary
Job Title: MOT Tester
Location: Chichester PO19 8TX
Salary: 34000 Bonus OTE 38000
Full Time and Permanent 7.30am-4.30pm Monday to Friday
1 in 4 Saturday mornings
Our client has a turnover of approximately 250 million and employs over 700 members of staff across 12 dealerships and 1 dedicated service centre.
They are looking to recruit a MOT Tester to join their prestige dealership in Chichester.
Our clients performance has been continuing to grow as well as being recognised for the quality of service provided to their customers.
As such they require a self-motivated individual who is able to use their own initiative to work alongside our existing team in their busy service department.
Job Description:
The ideal MOT Tester will have superb technical knowledge a professional attitude and will ensure that the highest quality of service is return youd be working with a company that genuinely cares about its colleagues and maintains some of the most pristine and prestigious showrooms and workshops in the country.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertaking Class IV MOT tests adhering to strict DVSA/Government guidelines
- To report additional faults requiring attention.
- To complete a full write up of work completed.
- To ensure all documentation is completed promptly.
- To maintain tools whether own or company in a safe and clean condition.
- To ensure that all requirements of Harwoods health and safety procedures are maintained.
- Maintaining and reporting on all DVSA standards
Skills & Requirements
Essential
- Hold the relevant MOT Tester qualification.
- Relevant City & Guilds BTEC or NVQ accreditation
- Competency in numeracy literacy and IT.
- Energy and enthusiasm.
- Full UK driving licence.
