This role follows a hybrid working model of two days per week at the Good Housekeeping Institute Feltham two days per week in our office based atHouse of Hearst 30 Panton Street St Jamess London SW1Y 4AJ and one day working from home.
The Role
This role will involve working closely with the Beauty Testing Manager Beauty Accreditation Lead the Content Team to test products across a range of beauty categories (e.g. skincare haircare colour cosmetics and electricals) for editorial and commercial purposes.You will also carry out research into products on the marketplace and consumer trendswhen required.
Test content sits across multiple Hearst brands such as Mens Health and Womens Health Cosmopolitan Elle and Good Housekeeping. Built on decades of product testing and expert editorial know-how the results of our testing can influence purchasing decisions and assure consumers of the quality and value of a product or service.
Main Duties
What We Are Looking For
Will need to demonstrate practical skills and a passion for beauty products.
Must be computer literate.
Must be able to demonstrate good analytical skills and be able to Interpret data confidently
Demonstrate experience of working within a practical testing environment either during university working for a manufacturer supplier or retailer
Excellent interpersonal skills as there will be interaction with both internal and external stakeholdersat all levels.
Strong organisational and time management skills - be able to multi-task and be a problem solver.
A mature and flexible approach to work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to deal with high volumes of work accurately and to deadline.
Must have a can-do attitude with ability to work under pressure be enthusiastic and proactive.
