Key Responsibilities
Design develop and maintain backend services using Django DRF and FastAPI
Build and consume RESTful APIs
Optimize applications for performance scalability and security
Integrate databases third-party APIs and external services
Write clean reusable and well-documented code
Debug troubleshoot and resolve backend issues
Collaborate with frontend developers DevOps and product managers
Participate in code reviews and follow best engineering practices

34 years of professional experience in backend development
Strong proficiency in Python
Hands-on experience with Django and Django Rest Framework (DRF)
Experience building APIs using FastAPI
Solid understanding of RESTful architecture
Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
Knowledge of ORM concepts
Familiarity with authentication authorization and security best practices
Experience with Git or other version control systems
Ability to write unit and integration tests
Nice to Have
Experience with Docker and containerized applications
Knowledge of Celery Redis or background task processing
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS GCP or Azure)
