Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and energetic Barback / Bar Helper to support a bartending team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is organized quick on their feet and committed to providing excellent customer service by ensuring the bar is fully stocked clean and operating efficiently. This assignment will run through Mardi Gras season with the potential for a permanent position on the team.

Key Responsibilities

Assist bartenders during high-volume service periods
Keep bar area clean organized and well-maintained
Wash and restock glassware and bar tools
Remove trash and empty recycling as needed
Monitor inventory levels and notify management of shortages
Assist with opening and closing duties
Provide friendly and professional support to guests when needed
Follow all safety sanitation and alcohol service guidelines
Break down bar area and equipment at events to load into company vehicles

Requirements

Previous bar restaurant or hospitality experience preferred but not required

Ability to work in a fast-paced high-energy environment

Strong work ethic and reliability

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Flexible availability including nights weekends and holidays
