The Sr. Manager of Events is responsible for leading the creative and operational strategy behind all event experiences speaker programs and on-site activations that bring the brand to this role the Sr. Manager oversees the end-to-end planning and execution of market events from content development and speaker engagement to experiential environments and hospitality experiences ensuring alignment with brand goals audience engagement and overall event excellence.
As a cross-functional leader the Sr. Manager partners closely with Brand Production Operations and Marketing teams to deliver elevated high-impact events that inspire attendees and strengthen brand positioning. This role requires a dynamic mix of strategic vision creative thinking and exceptional executional discipline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Programming:
- Support the Brand team in identifying vetting and securing speakers influencers and media partners who align with Market objectives and audience interests.
- Serve as the relationship owner for speaker engagements lead outreach and pitching efforts to potential speakers managing all communications fee negotiations etc.
- Oversee the contracting process ensuring terms deliverables and timelines are clearly defined and executed.
- Collect track and manage all speaker materials including headshots bios and session content.
- Maintain and manage the master speaker calendar ensuring all session details are shared with cross-functional teams (web marketing social signage and creative).
- Partner with Event Operations to deliver an exceptional on-site experience coordinating logistics such as AV stage décor environment design food & beverage temporary staffing and vendor support.
- Signage: Collaborate closely with the Production Team which manages all events-related signage including venue and activation signage event listings and logistical signage as they are most closely aligned with event content and scheduling.
- Buyer Lounges: Lead décor design food & beverage coordination and staffing for all buyer-facing environments such as the Atrium and Buyer lounges.
- Fashion Shows: Oversee all show logistics including model coordination set and environment design décor and AV production.
- Amenities: Manage activation-based amenities including floor bars atrium or lobby features and coffee pop-ups.
- Parties & Mixers: Plan and execute social experiences including nightly events kick-offs VIP mixers and meet-and-greets.
- VIP & Designer Dinners (25 guests): Produce intimate gatherings and roundtables including off-site coordination menu development and décor post-event close-out. Provide assistance where necessary on dinners with under 25 guests.
- Photo Opportunities: Concept and oversee Instagrammable moments that drive engagement and social shareability.
- Product Displays: Hire and manage a contractor to procure and install product displays at the Market centers. Work with Development and Operations to ensure proper placement and build-out of the displays.
- Speaker & Guest Experience: Oversee all on-site speaker management hospitality and engagement touchpoints. Ensure a professional and welcoming experience for talent and VIPs throughout the event lifecycle.
- Post-Event Management: Lead follow-up communications including thank-you notes gift distribution and sharing of post-event content or recordings. Gather and analyze feedback to inform continuous improvement of future events.
