Each semester it houses approximately 300 study abroad students from the main campus. The institutions mission is to increase students English proficiency to develop their cross-cultural awareness and to foster their personal : This posting is for several adjunct short-term contracts that are available during the spring. These are university-level credit-bearing content-based courses. Course content frequency and stipends vary. Apply if interested in discussing multiple opportunities students from the Global Business and International Japan Departments of our home campus as they study content courses in English here in Boston for the semester. We are looking for instructors with experience / background relevant to courses such as: History of US-Japan Relations Japanese Culture and Society Hospitality Industry Management Environmental Issues Finance Economics Marketing Management Leadership etc. Responsibilities and DutiesBe available for meetings and professional development activities three working days before the first day of class of a program and three working days after the last day of one office hour per week per and implement courses within the guidelines established by Showa Boston and its accreditor a detailed syllabus using the Showa Boston format for each class prior to first class meeting on an updated lesson plan post student assignments and attendance on MOODLE (Showa Bostons learning management system). Teachers also need to upload a second copy of the syllabus here for students to emergency lesson plans for each class when there is an unexpected student performance and maintain records of student progress. Submit grades no later than one week following the last and maintain good relationships with students staff members and other faculty with students both in and out of the organize or lead extracurricular activities for students on academic matters and use the Academic Alert system for reporting issues with technology such as smart board computers and language lab/language-lab applications to enhance student learning.
