Job Summary

Starick is a not-for-profit organisation operating primarily in the Perth Metropolitan South-East Corridor. Starick supports women children and young people experiencing and escaping family and domestic violence across the continuum of prevention early intervention crisis and healing.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Practice Lead to oversee the development and implementation of best practices within our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of professionals and ensuring that our organisation is operating at the highest level of efficiency and effectiveness.

This is a full-time position on a 2-year fixed term contract.

About the role

Leading and supporting family and domestic violence informed practice
Supporting client recovery and wellbeing
Supporting system and service improvement
Lead a team of professionals to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget
Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all projects are aligned with the organisations goals and objectives
Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure that they are meeting their goals and objectives
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that the organisation is meeting their needs
Monitor and analyse industry trends to ensure that the organisation is staying ahead of the curve
Develop and implement training programs to ensure that team members are up-to-date on the latest industry trends and best practices
Develop new and review and update existing policies and procedures that guide and improve specialist FDV practice

About you

Bachelors degree in a relevant field
Extensive experience in a leadership role
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong organizational skills
Excellent written oral and interpersonal skills
