Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and goal-oriented Assistant Sales Manager to join our dynamic team in Mumbai India. As an integral part of our sales department you will support the Director of Sales in driving revenue growth fostering client relationships and implementing effective sales strategies. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our organization while developing your skills in a fast-paced customer-focused environment.

  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager to promote our products and services within the assigned region
  • Support the achievement of sales targets including revenue goals client acquisition and market share growth
  • Identify visit and maintain relationships with potential existing and former clients
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform sales strategies
  • Assist in forecasting and monitoring business volume considering factors such as local events holidays and market trends
  • Maintain accurate client and company information in the CRM system
  • Support rate negotiations and contract preparation under the guidance of the Sales Manager
  • Contribute to the development and execution of sales presentations and proposals
  • Assist in preparing sales reports and market updates for management
  • Participate in training and mentoring junior sales team members
  • Represent the company at industry events trade shows and networking functions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to clients

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field
  • 3-5 years of demonstrable sales experience in a similar role preferably in the Mumbai market
  • Proven track record in relationship building and business development
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools
  • Experience in revenue management and forecasting
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple high-priority tasks
  • Demonstrated excellence in customer service delivery
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to close deals
  • In-depth knowledge of the local Mumbai market and industry trends
  • Proficiency in prospecting networking and conducting effective sales calls
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced goal-oriented environment
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as required
  • Fluency in English and Hindi; knowledge of other local languages is a plus
