About the role
This fulltime role (40 hours per week 8am4:30pm Monday to Friday) involvesmaintainingCodis homes and a range of tasks such as fly tipping removal knotweed spraying and playground inspections toa very highstandard working under the line management of the Estates & Environment both independently and as part of a teamidentifyinghazards and ensuring sitesremainsafe and wellmaintained.
You willbe responsible fora Codi vehicle ensuring it is roadworthycleanand correctly driven and that all tools equipment and materials are safely stored.
A full current UK driving licence is essential along with strong attention to detail and a commitment to health and safety in every task.
Skills and Experience Needed
Youllhave a minimum oftwo years experiencein the housing maintenance sector or a closely related field giving you the practical knowledge to work confidently across a variety of tasks. A strong understanding ofhealth and safety at workis essential including conducting risk assessments using equipment safely and correctly andmaintainingproper PPE standards. You should hold aCity & Guilds NVQ or equivalent qualificationin a maintenance trade orhorticulture orbe able todemonstratesubstantial handson experience that reflects the same level of competence. As the role requires travel between sites afull clean UK driving licenceis mandatory.
