Quadax a leader in healthcare revenue cycle technology is looking for an ambitious Business Analyst to help identify opportunities to maximize business performance. The ideal candidate enjoys digging into and analyzing data creating analyses that inform business decisions and initiatives that support the organizations goals. The candidate must have proven proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and advanced modeling; specifically lookup functions pivot tables pivot charts etc.
Reporting directly to the COO EDI Services you will be responsible for tracking and analyzing operational costs associated with revenue cycle management and finding opportunities to eliminate costs or increase revenue. Your insights will be influential to improvements in operational performance sales processes product and channel development marketing growth enablement and other areas of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze monthly invoices from vendors and prepare reports on operational expenses for company leadership
- Track key transaction data linking volume to operational spending and preparing analyses and reporting on areas of opportunity to maximize performance
- Create easily digestible analyses from complex data sources that will inform business and strategic decisions and help predict future performance
- Proactively identify opportunities for improvement by analyzing trends and results across various data sources employed by the organization
- Create various operational reports and/or dashboards to aid in ongoing decision making; Recommend revisions to existing reports or assist in the collection and/or development of new reports as needed
- Gain an understanding of the healthcare revenue cycle and healthcare transaction processing and use this knowledge to drive business performance gains.
- Collaborate with a team of service support sales and IT professionals on delivery of performance improvements
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- 1 years of experience working in operations or other data related fields and have advanced analytical skills and the ability to distill complex analysis for management
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and complex modeling; Specifically lookup functions pivot tables pivot charts etc.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment enjoy working cross-functionally but comfortable working independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts business models and technologies
- Experience with SQL or a willingness to learn SQL is preferred
- Knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle a plus
Salary Range: $55k-$65k depending on experience
