Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager
Job Summary
A well-established independent insurance agency is seeking a Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager to support a tenured and collaborative commercial lines team. This role focuses on servicing and supporting an assigned book of business with an emphasis on renewals endorsements and day-to-day client support. Administrative tasks such as certificates and ID cards are handled by a dedicated support resource allowing this position to remain service- and relationship-focused.

Responsibilities
- Support and service an assigned Commercial Lines book of business
- Assist with renewals endorsements policy changes and coverage reviews
- Support new business quoting and placement efforts
- Collaborate with Producers and internal teams to retain and grow client relationships
- Communicate with insurance carriers regarding renewals coverage changes and placement options
- Maintain accurate documentation and records within the agency management software
Qualifications/Requirements
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license
- Prior experience in Commercial Lines account management or servicing
- Solid understanding of generalist Commercial Lines coverages including Property General Liability and Workers Compensation
- Experience working within an agency management software environment
- Self-motivated detail-oriented and comfortable working with a high degree of independence
Compensation Package
- Competitive base salary between $50K-$70K (depending on experience)
