Role description: The purpose of the role is to lead the implementation of process improvement projects ensuring cross functional engagement acceptance of changes and effective implementations. Typical success measures will include adoption of a new technique or tool. The projects will involve both process standardisation and overseeing the development of technical solutions including testing and acceptance and pilots to prove a concept and set a basis for scaling up to global implementations.
Role accountabilities:
It is expected that the implementation manager performs a hands-on role and is fully embedded in the projects they support so that they are familiar with content and can provide context. It is essential that they are not merely a coordinator but take an active role in supporting include:
- Preparation of plans and schedules for implementation (general and detailed steps) based on input from Change SME and alignment with other Initiatives seeking agreement from key stakeholders
- Keep Implementation Plans /schedule updated.
- Preparing communications in line with a change management toolkit
- Hosting workshops and briefings with management and practitioners
- Ensuring feedback and update processes are effective to support the change
- Supporting and overseeing testing and acceptance of digital solutions
- Overseeing and driving adoption through leading user support and introduction sessions
- Tracking and sharing performance against project success criteria
- Providing clarity in handover to business as usual
Qualifications & Experience:
- 10 years of business experience primarily in project management
- Confident communicator - used to dealing with people at all levels
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence
- Skilled in prioritization and time management
- Ability to make decisions and deal with conflicting priorities
- Strong Project and change Management capabilities
- Experience with product development and agile delivery a benefit
- Educated to degree level
