About the Role

As a result of our recent growth we are hiring an Enterprise Account Executive based in Toronto with a focus on the Retail segment.

The Enterprise Account Executive will develop a go-to market strategy with our executive team to createopportunities and deliver revenue through effectively positioning OpsGuru as the AWSpartner of choice in the Canadian market and beyond. This position will identify new sales opportunitiesthat align with OpsGurus value proposition developing a pipeline of qualified opportunities to driverevenue from new customers and through channels and partners.


The Enterprise Account Executive must be able to effectively identify and close opportunities with newcustomers through the sales cycle through direct and indirect selling models. This team member mustbe successful at striking a balance between consistently delivering results against targets and forgingnew relationships to expand OpsGurus eco-system.


What you will be doing:


  • Build relationships with key decision makers within organizations in the retail sector to generateopportunities to deliver AWS solutions.
  • Develop a go-to-market strategy that will expand OpsGurus reach within the assigned territory.
  • Be accountable for consistently delivering quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Partner with marketing to develop campaigns events and promotional programs to drive sales opportunities.
  • Maintain and up-sell existing and enterprise-level accounts.
  • Craft professional written responses for prospective customer requests for quotes proposalscomplex bids.
  • Evangelize the OpsGuru message to your targets/partners and bring feedback to evolve strategy and services.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • A minimum of 7 to 10 years experience in strategic solutions selling in the cloud consulting managed services and/or AI space.
  • At least 2 years of experience selling solutions to organizations within the retail sector.
  • Have knowledge and interest in the cloud consulting/data transformation industry and related technologies.
  • Disciplined sales approach to prospect qualify and close sales opportunities.
  • A high degree of business acumen and integrity.
  • A trusted network of relationships with companies offering services complementary to OpsGurus solutions.
  • Ability to forge trusted relationships through strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication presentation listening and negotiation skills.
  • Highly organized.
  • Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment with a roll up your sleeves get it done attitude.
  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed.
  • Energy and enthusiasm that engages people around you.
