SAP HCM Consultant Payroll

The SAP HCM Consultant (Payroll) is responsible for analyzing business requirements and delivering integrated SAP HCM solutions with a strong focus on SAP Payroll Management. This role requires deep functional expertise the ability to propose innovative solutions configure SAP modules and collaborate with clients and crossfunctional teams. The consultant will also provide leadership within the team and support business development initiatives.

- Analyze business requirements related to SAP Payroll ensuring accurate and efficient solution design.
- Configure and implement SAP Payroll (PY) modules based on best practices.
- Work closely with functional and technical teams to deliver fully integrated SAP HCM solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients providing expert guidance and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
- Coach and mentor team members on SAP Payroll and related HCM topics.
- Participate in presales and business development activities including RFP responses demonstrations and solutioning sessions.
- Apply advanced knowledge across other SAP HCM areas such as Personnel Administration (PA) Organizational Management (OM) Personnel Development (PD) Benefits and ESS/MSS to support broader project needs.

- Minimum 5 years of functional/configuration experience in SAP Payroll Management.
- Experience in at least 2 full lifecycle implementations.
- Strong consulting experience with proven clientfacing and relationshipbuilding skills.
- Expertise in SAP Payroll and best practices configuration and testing.
- Strong understanding of Canadian payroll legislation compliance rules statutory requirements and time evaluation rules.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Nice to have:

- SAP HR Certification.
- Experience on SAP SuccessFactors (Employee Central EC Payroll Time Off/Time Tracking).
- SAP SuccessFactors Certification (Employee Central EC Payroll Time Off/Time Tracking).
- Nice to have - French

Additional Information

Occasional travel may be required depending on project and client needs.


CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors including but not limited to skill set level geographic market experience and training and licenses and decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80000 - $130000.
