Job Responsibilities:
The Senior AI/ML Product Manager is responsible for leading the definition and delivery of MLAI solutions. As an AI/ML Product Manager at Welocalize you will use a combination of extensive Data and AI knowledge and execution experience to deliver business value to stakeholders in accordance with the ML product vision and in support of company goals.Welocalize is in the process of building out its new ML Division and this role will be the third PM for the new ML team. You will help set a culture of speed impact and engineering excellence for this new ML engineering team. Your day-to-day will include working with stakeholders in our four main service lines to identify opportunities for ML to have an impact measure that impact and prioritize projects on the roadmap of the ML engineering team.
You will report to an established Product organization that has a record of excellence and established best practices.
MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Play a central role in building the capabilities that will empower multiple business-critical ML workloads.
- Build insights into Welocalize use cases strategize where AIML technologies can be applied to drive business impact and use these insights to build and champion the roadmap for ML at Welocalize.
- Closely partner with outstanding talent across engineering teams and drive tight integration with other systems to build ML tooling.
- Define clear OKRs that can help the team ensure progress towards our goal of driving ML adoption.
- Collaborate with internal operational stakeholders external clients and our engineering team to ensure product success.
- Requirement analysis and solution design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements define clear objectives and develop technical plans. Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities where AI can provide valuable insights and solutions.
- Partner with Engineers conducting experiments and evaluations to assess the performance and effectiveness of different models and techniques.
- Develop metrics that reflect the needs of the business for their stakeholder cases partner in the analysis and of experiment results interpret findings and provide actionable recommendations.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI machine learning deep learning and NLP.
- Lead product development and launches by working with multiple stakeholders to define product requirements prioritize features and manage timelines.
- Monitor product performance and user feedback to ensure product success.
- Develop and execute a formal plan to regularly engage with stakeholders to ensure all product needs are captured.
- Ensure that requirements slated for development are internally consistent well-described and granular enough to be implemented by developers.
- Collaborate with the development team by involving them in the development of the product vision sharing credit for success thinking through the nuances before presenting requirements and creating schedules through consensus.
- Contribute to a culture of excellence open communication courage and respect.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors degree or above
- 5 years of relevant work experience in ML software product management. Localization translation data collection or NLP experience is a bonus.
- Demonstrated ability to work with senior executives stakeholders and users to define and manage the scope strategy and requirements.
- Quantitative skills demonstrated by seeking out understanding and diving into data research and others thoughts and ideas to support data-driven decision-making.
- A well-rounded communicator collaborator and presenter who loves to share findings and insights
- Strong practical knowledge of MS Office Atlassian (JIRA Confluence)
- Understanding of Lean and Agile Methodologies
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail deadlines and reporting.
- Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
- Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis interpretation & reasoning)
- Ability to build clear and concise presentations and communicate effectively at every level of the organization.
- Demonstrated specialization execution and delivery of AI products.
- Demonstrated project management skills including effective planning organizing and administration of multi-functional work responsibilities.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate cross-functional planning sessions (i.e. Scrum and Squad in Agile).
- Demonstrated ability to effectively partner across collaborate with and inspire teams and individuals including remote employees.
- Ability to negotiate and resolve complex and sensitive issues with diplomacy and persuasiveness.
