DescriptionRoles & Responsibilities
- Laboratory Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the laboratory to ensure proper functioning of test equipment and facilities including electrical electronic and electromechanical product testing laboratory which performs different safety tests including electrical mechanical environmental as well as EMI/EMC tests
- Develop & implement laboratory management systems and operations procedures to ensure standardization and accuracy of the test process
- Manage laboratory budget control costs and optimize resource allocation
- Establish and maintain uncompromised 5S & safety practices at workplace
- Testing:
- Define test procedures for testing of electrical electronic and mechanical products to ensure the compliance with the relevant product standards and regulations (E.g. UL CSA IEC EN etc.)
- Supervise the testing process and review the test reports to ensure the accuracy & reliability of the test data for different types of certifications including ATEX/IECEx NEC/CEC etc.
- Communicate & coordinate with different Business Units to understand their needs and provide professional technical support & solutions to execute various R&D validation and product compliance tests
- Quality Control and Improvement
- Oversee the implementation of the laboratory quality management system to ensure compliance with quality standards such as ISO/IEC 17025
- Conduct regular reviews and improvements to enhance the laboratorys testing capabilities and service quality
- Handle customer complaints and feedback to continuously improve the service quality
- Team management:
- Lead and manage the lab team responsible for personnel training and performance evaluation
- Motivate team members ad promote teamwork to improve work efficiency and quality
- Solve internal team problems and maintain a good team atmosphere
- Guide the team on all the technicalities of testing reporting and accreditations
- Review the utilization of different lab resources and plan for new requirements in co-ordination with associated stakeholders
Experience
Qualification-
- B.E/BTech. Electronics Electrical or Mechanical from a recognized college or university
