AppDev Lead with Entra

Adastra is hiring an experienced Application Development Lead to architect and deliver enterprise-grade applications leveraging Azure Entra for identity and access management. This is a leadership role that combines technical expertise with strategic vision to guide development teams and ensure secure scalable solutions

Location: Across Canada

Work Mode: Fully Remote

Status: Contract (Short-term)

Responsibilities:

• Lead application development initiativesfrom design through deployment ensuring best practices and high-quality standards
• Architect and design applicationsleveragingAzure servicesandAzure Entrafor identity and access management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and align solutions with business objectives
• Drive adoption of modern development frameworks and cloud-native architectures
• Ensure compliance with security and governance standards across all applications

Qualifications Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in a lead or architect rolewithin application development
• Strong expertise inAzure App ServicesAzure Entra and related cloud technologies
• Proficiency inC#for backend development
• Hands-on experience withReactandfor modern front-end development
• Solid understanding ofidentity management authentication and authorization patterns
• Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills with the ability to mentor development teams

Nice to Have:

• Experience withCI/CD pipelinesand DevOps practices in Azure
• Familiarity withmicroservices architectureand containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Knowledge ofsecurity best practicesin cloud application development
