The Photo Studio Merchandise Coordinator will be responsible for movement and tracking of physical products through the photo studio. This role is vital to facilitating successful ecommerce photo shoots for JD and . They are highly organized methodical and able to prioritize within multiple tasks under the pressure of tight deadlines. As a key support role to numerous simultaneous studio processes they effectively manage multiple often overlapping accountabilities and deadlines gracefully.
Hold hands-on responsibility for seeing that product is received prepped and moves throughout the photo studio as needed.
Ensure items are received prepped and delivered to the appropriate departments in a timely manner to maintain production SLAs.
Operate clothing steamers and other prep devices to ensure that footwear and apparel items are delivered to photography teams in photo-ready condition.
Move lift and unpack and hang and repack merchandise.
Drive to pick up items from neighboring Distribution Center (<1 mile distant)
Utilizing the studio workflow tool (Creative Force) maintain tracking and location accountability for items in the studio.
Coordinate with studio teams to respond to regular production needs as well as urgent and ad hoc requests.
Develop a working understanding of studio processes and standards to appropriately escalate when necessary.
Effectively troubleshoot missing items documentation and workflow irregularities.
Work within Continuous Improvement and 5S frameworks to maintain a visually organized workplace.
Participate in Continuous Improvement events to contribute to and improve studio processes.
Work effectively in Google Suite tools to communicate update and document product status
Uphold defined work safety standards to maintain a clean safe work environment.
Additional duties and projects as requested
Required Education and/or Experience-
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 2 years as in retail distribution or warehouse experience. Experience supporting advertising photography or videography operations is beneficial.
Required Computer and/or Technical Skills-
Should be fluent in both Mac and PC operating systems. Should have functional knowledge of Excel and Google Suite.
