Job Summary

We are on the look out for a Events and Memberships Manager to join the growing team at Hotel Gotham Newcastle!

Call it what you like but what were really after is someone to put the HOT into HOTEL.

You see when we launched the first Hotel Gotham in Manchester it was billed as Europes sexiest hotel. Now its Newcastles time to enjoy the Gotham effect. So whoever takes on this role will be developing more than just business. Gotham is a way of life. A vibe. A 5-star-studded theatrical vibrant stylish dramatic experience for guests and staff.

We want someone to reach for the stars.

Youll need to be energetic charming proactive and entrepreneurial. A bit of a multi-tasking marvel. And youll have the experience ability and determination to:

Quickly attune yourself to the Hotel Gotham and Bespoke Hotels brands
Develop and execute a winning strategy for growing events and memberships within Hotel Gotham.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through positive relationships with corporate accounts travel agencies and key industry players.
Conduct and act on market research competitor analysis and performance metrics.
Represent Hotel Gotham at industry events trade shows and networking functions.

Youll also have

Proven experience in event sales or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Proven communication negotiation time-management and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Willingness to travel as needed.
