A Day in the Life

Medtronic is expanding their footprint for Diabetes Care with a center in Pune. We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative web specialist to join our digital content team. The web specialist will be responsible for creating editing and managing web content using Adobe Experience Manager to ensure a consistent and engaging digital experience for our users. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of content strategy attention to detail and experience working within AEM environment.

Our portfolio of innovative solutions is designed to provide customers greater freedom and better health helping them achieve better glucose control while spending less time managing their disease.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Create and manage digital content using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).

  • Update and maintain website pages components and digital assets based on business and marketing needs.

  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers developers marketers and stakeholders to publish high-quality engaging and user-friendly content.

  • Ensure content adheres to brand guidelines accessibility standards SEO best practices and web performance metrics.

  • Troubleshoot content issues and perform quality assurance to ensure content displays correctly across devices and browsers.

  • Work with DAM (Digital Asset Management) systems to manage media and assets.

  • Assist with content migration and publishing schedules.

  • Provide feedback on AEM component usage and suggest improvements to enhance content creation efficiency.

  • Designs develops troubleshoots debugs configures and maintains website(s) for internal and external communications for the company and/or for external customers and clients.

  • Ensures website(s) is available to the desired audience with appropriate links and security.

  • Develops assesses and communicates website usage and security policies and procedures.

  • Designs web page layout graphics color schemes and infrastructure to maintain a cohesive website based on the organizations communications strategies and goals.

  • Researches and evaluates new related technologies.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Proven experience (2 years) working with Adobe Experience Manager (Sites).

  • Strong understanding of CMS content structuring metadata tagging and page templates.

  • Familiarity with basic HTML/CSS is a plus.

  • Familiarity with Figma

  • Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.

  • Experience working with AEM 6.x or later versions.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and digital project workflows.

  • Experience with digital asset management systems and localization/multilingual content strategies.

  • Understanding of web accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG).
