Education:
- Bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science
Your Expertise:
- Experience databases and related technologies
- Strong knowledge in framework (2.0/4.0)
- Knowledge and experience with at least one of React or Angular
- Knowledge and experience implementing core for a distributed environment
- Good knowledge libraries and frameworks
- Practical knowledge of version control and build tools such as GitHub Jenkins Nexus Puppet Chef Ansible AppDynamics
- Working knowledge of application servers such as Apache Tomcat IBM WebSphere and relational databases
- Knowledge of agile development practices (Scrum XP Kanban etc.)
- DevOps mindset with experience in software development build chains and deployment with the ability to deep dive into technical issues
- Experience with enterprise monitoring scheduling and ticket management products (e.g. Azure Monitoring Tools Netcool Autosys and ServiceNow)
- Solid experience running Git Confluence and ideally some exposure to Crucible Crowd Nexus and SonarQube
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 5-7 members ensuring effective communication and collaboration within the team
- Design develop and maintain RESTful APIs applications that power the systems
- Analyze user requirements to translate them into application design
- Collaborate with multiple IT & business stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop high-performance and scalable solutions
- Application design & development using SDLC methodologies host them on web apps Kubernetes-based cloud infrastructure and be well-versed with Agile processes
- Maintain code quality follow coding standards and participate in code reviews
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies and API development
- Produce detailed design documentation
- Expertise in C# web development and windows development
- Good knowledge in fixing Windows OS migration issues
- Experience in writing Windows Batch scripts / Autosys jobs
- Knowledge on application servers and databases (Oracle Sybase & SQL Server)
- Understanding of AD Integration with windows servers
- Must have good analytical and debugging skills
- Should have good soft skills and be able to manage stakeholders
- Should be able to understand and debug Windows/Unix Shell scripts
- Should be flexible to accommodate overlap with members from other time-zones
- Experience on Migration/Upgrade projects gives an added advantage
