The Role
Proofpoint is seeking a results-driven Enterprise Sales Leader to lead and scale our Canadian sales organization. This leader will be accountable for driving predictable revenue growth embedding strong repeatable sales processes and building a high-performance culture focused on execution.

This is a hands-on customer-facing leadership role with direct involvement in strategy execution and closing complex enterprise opportunities. You will lead coach and develop a team of Named Account Managers while ensuring alignment across partners marketing and the broader Proofpoint ecosystem.

What Youll Do

  • Own and execute the regional growth strategy translating corporate objectives into clear actionable territory and account plans
  • Establish and enforce strong sales discipline including pipeline management forecasting rigor deal inspection and consistent execution of Proofpoints sales methodology
  • Lead coach and develop a team of high-performing Named Account Managers driving accountability talent growth and sustained results
  • Engage directly with customers and prospects personally influencing and closing key strategic deals
  • Build and expand executive-level relationships with enterprise customers across the region
  • Define and execute a partner-led growth strategy working closely with channel partners to drive incremental pipeline and revenue
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Engineering Marketing Professional Services and Customer Success to accelerate adoption and long-term customer value
  • Maintain deep awareness of competitive dynamics market trends and emerging cybersecurity needs to sharpen positioning and deal strategy
  • Role requirement: Must reside in the Greater Toronto Area.

What You Bring

  • 5 years of experience leading distributed high-performing enterprise field sales teams
  • Proven ability to build and scale effective sales processes that deliver forecast accuracy and consistent growth
  • Experience selling enterprise SaaS and/or cybersecurity solutions (strongly preferred)
  • Strong track record of driving new business expanding strategic accounts and closing complex multi-stakeholder deals
  • Demonstrated success selling into large Canadian enterprises including TSX-listed organizations
  • Deep understanding of modern cybersecurity and cloud technology trends
  • Strong executive presence with exceptional consultative selling and communication skills
  • Ability to design and execute demand generation strategies in partnership with marketing
  • Data-driven mindset with strong business planning pipeline management and forecasting discipline
  • Experience driving outbound prospecting motions and coaching teams to do the same
  • Bilingual (English / Canadian French) is an asset
