About the role

  • Be the welcoming face of a leading teaching hospital creating a positive first impression for every patient and visitor

  • Keep the patient journey running smoothlyfrom arrival to dischargeby supporting clinical teams behind the scenes

  • Engage with a diverse mix of healthcare professionals patients and external partners every day

  • Take ownership of key admin tasks including managing bookings capturing payments and answering enquiries with confidence

  • Play a vital role in a high-performing team by maintaining a professional appearance and strong front-desk presence

  • Primarily Monday Friday working commitment with the occasional Saturday shift in place of another day.

About you

  • A friendly confident communicator who enjoys being the welcoming first point of contact for patients and visitors

  • Experience in administration or customer service ideally within healthcare or a busy service environment with a genuine focus on helping others

  • Calm and adaptable able to juggle multiple tasks while responding thoughtfully to patient and clinical needs

  • Naturally organised with strong attention to detail taking pride in delivering high-quality service

  • Presents professionally values punctuality and is motivated to represent the hospital with care integrity and respect

In this role you will be based at St Vincents hospital Darlinghurst.
