Jhpiego is hiring for the position of Program Officer- Immunization who will be responsible for providing technical assistance to the new vaccine introduction and immunization project.

Responsibilities

Reports to: Program Manager Immunization

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance to Immunization project for smooth implementation and support day-to-day activities.
  • Update and document program guidelines and documents as per need of the project.
  • Documentation of learnings including process documentation theme-based documentation and documentation of success stories.
  • Maintain and update health and immunization data.
  • Review and Develop Learning Resource Package Job-aids factsheets advocacy materials brochures newsletters etc.
  • Prepare and update program reports and presentations.
  • Maintain and update output outcome indicators MIS and dashboard
  • Prepare concept notes training and workshop reports meeting minutes etc.
  • Prepare a research paper on immunization for publication in a reputed journal
  • Support in organizing meetings training stakeholder workshops consultations conferences webinars etc.
  • Provide support in drafting proposals for new funding opportunities.
  • Travel to States/Districts as per organizational requirements
  • Perform other activities as assigned by the Supervisor to achieve organizational goals

Required Qualifications

  • Masters degree in public health Community Medicine Health Management Social Sciences or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of Experience of working in health or immunization programs at national level
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software application
  • Should be able to identify and solve problems that may arise during project implementation.
  • Should have excellent attention to detail to ensure that all project tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Should be able to manage multiple tasks at once and prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance.
  • Be a supportive and cooperative team member working well with others to achieve shared goals.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken english.
