Job Summary
We are hiring a Collection Officer – Mortgage responsible for managing overdue mortgage accounts and ensuring timely recovery of dues. The role involves field collections customer followups and coordination with internal teams to maintain portfolio quality and reduce delinquency.
Key Responsibilities
Handle mortgage loan overdue accounts and ensure timely collections
Conduct field visits and customer meetings for recovery followups
Negotiate repayment plans and support account regularization
Monitor DPD (Days Past Due) and control delinquency levels
Coordinate with sales credit and legal teams for resolution of cases
Maintain accurate collection records and update MIS reports
Support recovery actions including legal escalation when required
Ensure adherence to company collection policies and compliance guidelines
Eligibility Criteria
Graduate in any discipline
1–3 years of experience in mortgage / retail asset collections
Experience in banking / NBFC collections preferred
Good knowledge of the Varanasi local market
