Position Role: Support to the formulation and delivery of plans to deliver the Defence People Strategy. |
Responsibilities: - Near term horizon scanning to ensure that short-term workforce trends are captured and reflected in the Defence People Strategy and People Plans.
- Develop and maintain the Defence People Plan; oversee strategic People inputs to internal plans.
- Lead on the People inputs into the Area Plans and ensure coherence between the 4 Areas across the people function.
- Engagement across the 4 Areas (including the Military Commands) to ensure delivery of the Defence People Strategy and Plan.
- Ensure appropriate representation of People in Defence planning and business processes (e.g. Defence and Spending Reviews Strategies and Plans).
- Lead for Performance and Risk within People Strategy. Ensuring risks to the delivery of the Defence People Strategy and Plan are accurately captured and managed.
- Provision of Strategic people advice and guidance to wider MOD Stakeholders including internally within the DoS and across the other 3 Areas of Defence.
8. Lead and support people related International Engagement activities including NATO the Northern HR WG and country specific bi-lats.
