OCU Group is experiencing sustained and exciting growth across the water and wastewater sector with a strong pipeline of secured and upcoming framework work. As a result of continued success we are seeking an experienced Contracts Framework Manager to play a pivotal role in our South Wales operations based in Bridgend.
This is a high-impact senior position offering real influence long-term career progression and the opportunity to work on major utility frameworks for blue-chip clients across the UK.
The Opportunity
As Contracts Framework Manager you will be at the heart of our commercial and contractual strategy working closely with Project Managers Construction Managers commercial teams and key stakeholders. You will manage frameworks end-to-end from bid and tender through to delivery and final account ensuring projects are commercially robust contractually compliant and delivered to the highest standards.
This role offers a clear pathway into senior commercial leadership within a fast-growing business that actively invests in its people.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and manage tenders bids and framework submissions to secure new business
Develop present and negotiate commercial and contractual proposals
Build strong client relationships and act as the primary point of contact
Draft review and negotiate contracts and terms of business
Agree and manage budgets programmes and timescales
Oversee construction schedules cost control and risk management
Identify and manage variations claims and unexpected costs
Attend site and client meetings to monitor progress and performance
Ensure projects meet technical commercial and contractual standards
Liaise with subcontractors legal teams financial and technical staff
Oversee final accounts and close-out processes
Operate across both office and site environments
What Were Looking For
Degree or HND in Construction Commercial or Project Management
(Equivalent experience considered)
Strong working knowledge of NEC3 / NEC4 (FIDIC desirable)
Solid understanding of the construction and utilities sector
Commercially astute with strong contract and legal awareness
Confident leader with excellent stakeholder management skills
Strong numeracy IT and analytical skills
Proactive solutions-focused and able to work on your own initiative
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Full UK Driving Licence essential
