DevOps Platform Engineer Camunda

Job Title: Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software development with at least 5 years of experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. The candidate should be proficient in at least one object-oriented programming language and have a solid understanding of Kubernetes or OpenShift cluster management. Experience with Camunda platform setup deployment and operations is highly desired. This role requires a hands-on approach to automation and a passion for driving efficiency and reliability in the deployment process.
Responsibilities
Design build and maintain efficient reusable and reliable CI/CD pipelines.
Work closely with development teams to integrate their projects into the production environment and ensure their ongoing support.
Deploy configure and manage Camunda platform components including Zeebe brokers Operate Tasklist and Optimize in production environments.
Implement and maintain multi-datacenter Camunda deployments with high availability configurations including replication factor and quorum settings.
Develop and maintain scalable infrastructure using a variety of cloud platforms including Kubernetes Azure OCP and AWS.
Configure and manage data sources like GitHub Actions to ensure seamless integration and deployment processes.
Monitor and troubleshoot Camunda platform performance including backpressure management cluster health and resource optimization.
Develop high-quality scripts (Groovy TypeScript Java Python Bash) to automate repetitive tasks and improve system efficiencies.
Ensure system administration and management of Unix-based systems.
Collaborate with teams in an Agile environment to rapidly iterate on product features and deployment strategies.
Utilize tools such as Jenkins Ansible Dynatrace and Artifactory to manage complex deployment tasks.
Employ containerization and orchestration tools such as Helm Kustomize and Docker to manage and deploy applications.
Engage with containerization platforms to ensure high availability and scalability of services.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or relevant field.
At least 5 years of experience in DevOps software development or related field.
Proficient in developing with an object-oriented programming language.
Experience with Camunda platform (Zeebe Operate Tasklist Optimize) setup deployment and operations.
Hands-on experience with Camunda platform architecture including clustering replication and high availability configurations.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure OCP AWS K8s).
Strong experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes cluster management and administration.
Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
Proficiency with GitHub Actions for CI/CD workflows and automation.
Strong development/scripting skills in languages such as Groovy TypeScript Java Python and Bash.
Administrative proficiency with Unix systems.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
Knowledge of Jenkins Ansible Dynatrace Artifactory Helm Kustomize Docker and other relevant tools.
Experience with Camunda monitoring using Grafana and Prometheus is a plus.
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices for automated deployment and configuration management.
