Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AI Developer to join our technology team and accelerate the development of AI driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AI/ML large language model (LLM) integration and workflow automation combined with strong hands on development experience in Java and the Spring Framework.

This role will focus on designing implementing and scaling AI agents intelligent workflows and NLP-powered capabilities to enhance our product offerings and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

AI Solution Design & Development

Lead the design and development of AI powered solutions including AI agents chatbots autonomous workflows and intelligent automation systems.

Build and scale AI/ML pipelines and decisioning systems tailored to business needs.

LLM Integration

Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT Cohere or open source models into existing Java/Spring based applications.

Implement advanced NLP capabilities contextual reasoning summarization classification and predictive analytics using LLM APIs or self hosted models.

Cross Functional Collaboration

Work closely with developers data scientists architects and product managers to define:

o AI strategy

o Technical roadmap

o Requirements for new AI features and services

Workflow Optimization & Scalability

Design and optimize AI workflows for scalability performance and resilience.

Utilize Oracle databases for efficient data retrieval feature storage and AI driven operations.

Technical Leadership & Mentorship

Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of innovation experimentation and continuous learning in AI/ML practices.

Provide technical guidance across teams on AI design patterns best practices and model lifecycle management.

Research & Innovation

Stay current with emerging AI/ML technologies frameworks and LLM advancements.

Evaluate and propose new tools or methodologies to solve business challenges more efficiently.

MLOps & Deployment

Implement MLOps pipelines CI/CD workflows and model deployment automation to support production grade AI systems.

Ensure models are monitored versioned retrained and deployed using scalable infrastructure.

Architecture & Systems Knowledge

Apply knowledge of microservices architecture event driven systems and distributed computing to build modern AI applications.

Contribute to architectural decisions affecting AI components and integration patterns.

Open Source & Thought Leadership

Contributions to open source AI projects or research publications are a strong plus.

Advocate for best practices in AI engineering across the organization.

Trust Security & Compliance

Ensure all AI solutions are built with data privacy security and ethical AI considerations.

Implement guardrails governance and compliance standards for responsible AI.

Experience (Years): 4-6 Essential Skills: Work with project teams throughout the organization to design implement and manage CDN infrastructure using Akamai to ensure high availability performance and scalability for customer facing applications and business processes. Handle multiple priorities and assignments with excellence and precision. Be a part of a 24/7/365 organization (some after hours support is expected as part of normal on-call rotation). Directly support line of business development teams provide guidance to them on implementation and changes for customer facing applications Develop and maintain security protocols and measures to protect CDN infrastructure from cyber threats. Monitor and analyze network performance identifying and resolving issues to optimize content delivery of critical applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Akamai CDN solutions with existing systems and applications. Collaborate with information security teams to implement DDoS protection strategies and other security measures in the CDN. Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams regarding CDN and security best practices. Work closely with vendor and professional service teams on delivery related activities and strategy. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field. OR similar work experience. Strong understanding of network protocols (HTTP/HTTPS DNS TCP/IP). Proven experience as a CDN Engineer or similar role with a strong focus on -depth knowledge of Content Delivery Network technologies including caching load balancing and content optimization. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Experience supporting 24/7/365 customer facing applications at enterprise scale. Awareness and experience with cybersecurity tools and practices such as firewalls intrusion detection/prevention systems and encryption. Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g. Python Bash) a plus. Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP CEH) are a plus but not required.
