Job Summary

Power BI Developer - SQL Azure Data Platform

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to design build and optimize business intelligence solutions that support data driven decisions across the organization. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise an analytical mindset and the ability to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop deploy and maintain Power BI dashboards reports and data models.

Translate business requirements into effective data visualizations and analytics solutions.

Build and optimize DAX measures tabular models and Power Query (M) transformations.

Connect to and integrate data from multiple sources including SQL Azure and enterprise systems.

Ensure data accuracy quality and performance across BI solutions.

Collaborate with business partners to gather requirements validate outputs and enhance usability.

Support governance documentation and best practices for BI development.

Required Qualifications:

3 years of experience in Power BI development and data visualization.

Strong proficiency in DAX Power Query (M) and data modeling principles.

Experience with SQL relational databases and ETL concepts.

Ability to analyze complex data and present insights clearly to business users.

Understanding of BI lifecycle security and performance tuning.

Preferred Assets:

Experience with Azure Data Platform (e.g. Data Factory Synapse Databricks).

Knowledge of insurance or financial services data domains.

Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.

Soft Skills:

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Attention to detail with a problem-solving mindset.

Ability to work in a collaborative and fast paced environment.
