Job Summary

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Welfare & Compliance professional to lead statutory welfare initiatives employee engagement programs and labour law compliance within a manufacturing environment. The role is critical in ensuring adherence to the Factories Act and other statutory requirements while fostering a positive compliant and engaged workforce. The ideal candidate will drive welfare activities manage contractor compliance and serve as a key liaison with government authorities ensuring seamless audit readiness and operational excellence across the facility.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan implement and monitor employee welfare programs in alignment with the Factories Act and company policy.
  • Organize health camps safety awareness campaigns and community or social initiatives to enhance employee well-being.
  • Promote employee engagement through suggestion schemes sports events cultural programs and family participation activities.
  • Maintain accurate statutory registers records and returns as mandated by law.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with government departments (Labour ESI PF etc.) during inspections audits and compliance reviews.
  • Conduct regular internal compliance audits and ensure timely resolution of audit observations.
  • Monitor contractor compliance with statutory obligations including PF ESI and minimum wage requirements.
  • Support disciplinary processes and handle minor misconduct cases in coordination with the HR/IR Head.

Requirements

Requirements:
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Talent Acquisition from industries other than IT or Finance
  • MBA / PGDM in HR or a related field (preferred)
  • Proven stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Hands-on experience in Welfare & Statutory Compliance preferably in manufacturing or engineering sectors
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing labour laws and managing factory welfare activities
  • Strong documentation coordination and interpersonal communication skills
  • Full-time MBA / PGDM in HR (preferred)
