Job Summary

Our client is a leading manufacturer in the electrical cable industry seeking an experienced professional to join their firm.

Responsibilities

Plan and manage procurement activities to ensure stable supply of raw materials for production.
Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost quality and delivery time.
Negotiate with suppliers on pricing contracts and commercial terms.
Manage supplier performance and develop alternative supply sources.
Coordinate with production and planning teams to ensure material availability.
Monitor market trends and price fluctuations of key materials to support purchasing decisions.
Standardize procurement processes and build KPIs to improve efficiency.
Lead and develop the purchasing team and manage the raw material warehouse.
Ensure compliance with company regulations and control procurement related risks.

Requirements

Bachelor degree or higher.
Minimum 10 years of experience in purchasing or materials management including at least 5 years in a manager role.
Experience working in large manufacturing companies preferably in electrical cable electrical equipment or industries with major input materials such as metals copper and plastics.
English proficiency equivalent to IELTS 6.5 or above.
Proficiency in SAP and Power BI for analysis and reporting.
Strong capability in managing a team of 10 to 12 staff.
Good understanding of raw material markets and price trends is an advantage.
Experience in restructuring procurement processes and KPI development is an advantage.
Experience in digital transformation or procurement system optimization is an advantage.
